Cocoa from Quebec?
Well: yes and no! The cocoa shells come from a circular economy partnership with Qantù, a Montreal chocolate factory recognized internationally for their high-quality fine products.
The cocoa from Peru is carefully selected, then returned to Quebec, a machine separates the cocoa bean from its shell, because we do not consume this exterior part in the chocolate. The husk, which is normally thrown away, is set aside for Floèm and roasted in the oven to bring out all its flavor.
This comforting blend combines the warmth of South America and the Nordic side of balsam fir, an emblem of our Canadian coniferous forests.
