Yes, for the simple reason that there are no studies on the subject by ethics. For personal health issues, it's always best to talk to your healthcare professional. No, our products do not contain allergenic ingredients.
However, please note that our herbal teas are not produced in certified allergen-free facilities.
No. Despite the fact that Labrador tea, our main ingredient, has the name “tea”, this plant has no theine or caffeine and even helps relaxation. Thus none of our infusions have any.
We advise you to consume the herbal teas within the first 12 months for the best experience, but they can last around 24 months. To maintain the freshness of the mixtures, always store them in an airtight container, in a cool place, away from light and humidity.
Yes, Labrador tea and some types of flowers have this texture when ground. They deliver even more flavor!
No, our herbal teas never contain added sugar or sweeteners, we keep all natural ingredients.
No, we do not add any flavoring to our infusions, because we want to offer authentic products that reflect the flavors specific to the ingredients.
Yes! Please note, however, that even if they do not contain gluten, our facilities are not certified gluten-free.
Our herbal teas are not certified organic, although they are hand picked from natural environments, due to the ingredients harvested from the forest being really difficult to certify. The other ingredients of our herbal teas are organic.
At Floèm, an aromatic is a single (unmixed) aromatic ingredient from the boreal forest. This term includes infusible plants (herbal teas) and those used as Nordic spices to season your dishes. Some herbs are excellent in cooking and in infusions, while others are less pleasant in herbal tea alone (eg: cloves, dune pepper).

The majority of the supply comes from wild harvesting, with permits and areas assigned by the government. We also have some ingredients that come from crops in Quebec, including: aronia berry, organic apples and beets.
Floèm sachets (infusion bags) are 100% compostable. They are made from plant fibers, PLA (polylactic acid), obtained from corn starch. They can therefore be placed directly in the compost bin.
Preparation / instructions for use
We recommend 10-15 minutes of infusion, to allow time for all the flavor to fully diffuse. Also, the ideal temperature is between 85 and 90°C. Water that is too hot (100°C) can bring out a little bitterness.
It depends on your taste and the size of your cup. One bag can be suitable for a large cup or a small teapot for two people. You can also steep longer for a richer taste without bitterness.
A 30g bag of loose herbal tea makes approximately 20-30 servings. It all depends on the size of your cup and whether you prefer the richer or milder taste.
