Labrador Tea

Take a well-deserved break with our infusion of ground Labrador tea. This still unknown herb is used in herbal tea as well as in gastronomy to season dishes. Contrary to its name, Labrador tea does not contain theine or caffeine, nor is it in the botanical family of "true tea" (green tea, black tea, white tea, etc.).

The plant also grows in large quantities in Quebec where our pickers harvest the leaves by hand, respecting its regeneration cycle. 

What does Labrador tea taste like?

Indeed, some are slightly resembling the taste of jasmine. What is certain is that it has an unusual woody flavour, which tends to be located between wild mint and fir resin. It is a very demonstrative portrait of Quebec woods!
